Now that the body is done it’s about time I finished off the neck.  I’ve got the fretboard nice but I have something special in mind for the head.  unfortunately the head is just slightly too short to for what I have in mind so I need to add a couple of inches.  The bracing will give it some added strength.

Once the glue dries I’ll remove the excess wood.

Since I want the front to be natural wood I’ll glue on a thin veneer which I’ll lacquer later.

Now I’ve got the shape it just needs finishing off.
