Not a bad little one this, I’m not sure about the colour of the neck, I don’t think I’ve seen such an orange finish before! All it needs is good clean and setup though.
All it needs is a little time to pull each part out and clean it thoroughly.
Not forgetting the frertboard…
That also includes cleaning the switch and pots’
With it all back together now it’s time to check the setup, starting with the tremolo, which was sitting a little high.
so tighten up the springs in the back.
That’s better.
Next the neck set, rather too curved…
so tighten up the truss-rod.
Having done that the action at the 12th fret was now much too low…
so raise the bridge. I start at the outside “E” strings……
and then set the rest to match the radius of the bridge to the radius of the fretboard.
Then the action at the 1st fret, which was fine.
Now the intonation, to make sure it sounds “In-tune” all the way up and down the neck.
Last of all the pickup heights.
