Ouch! Bet that hurt….
Luckily it’s a clean break, along the grain and the parts fit together well. The veneer on the face of the head has kept it together. The guy taped it back together to keep it in place which is good. If you ever do break something like this it’s always best to fix it as soon as possible. If you leave it too long the natural oils from the wood can evaporate and the grain can get contaminated with dust and dirt; all of which will reduce the strength of the repair!
Not quite invisible, but then that’s almost impossible to achieve. Since it’s a long break, along the grain I’ve also not added any additional bracing. If the break was across the neck it would have needed a little more support.
