Nothing much fundamentally wrong with this one, it’s just in need of a thorough clean and setup. It’s not been used for quite some time but I believe it has significant sentimental value.
The fretboard and frets were rather dirty, as was the rest of the guitar.
A good scrub with 0000 grade steel wool to remove the build-up of dirt and polish the frets.
Lemon Oil to bring the rather dry wood back to life.
I do like Virtuosos Premium Cleaner to remove the grime from the rest of the woodwork and Polish to bring back the shine. There’s no replacement for good old elbow grease mind you.
The setup wasn’t that far off, the neck was a little too curved.
So a small adjustment on the truss-rod.
A couple of new bridge pins and couple of tweaks here and there and it’s good to go.
For anything else similar then just drop me a line or give me a call.
