Had a bit of a busy weekend, culminating with a grand day out in Birmingham, at the Guitar Show.  Some fantastic bargains to be had.  I was looking for a small, portable, practice amp.  Something simple with valves!  I’m fed up with overly complicated amps with far too many effects.  What I found isn’t quite that, it’s solid state but still works well.  Sounds good with an acoustic and even copes with a Bass quite well..

Saved me £70 on my planned budget as well, so can’t complain there!

Found another bargain as well.  I’ve had half an eye open for a 12 string acoustic for a while, and I found this one…

I’ve always said Ibanez are good value for money but for £145 it’s a positive steal!

What else?  I didn’t buy one, but probably the best value out there.. Gretsch, really nice guitars for the price.  There are better guitars out there, and cheaper guitars, but for a mid range instrument they’re fantastic value for money.

And the wackiest…’nuff said?
