Another stunning new Fender, just needs a tweek here and there to get it playing at its best.

While I was at it I tidied up some of the plastic film left on the pick-guard..

 

The only way to get it all is to take the knobs off.

On with the setup the neck had just a little too much curve…

so I tightened up the truss-rod a shade.

The action up at the 12th fret was a little low, causing some fret buzz….

so I raised up the outside strings..

followed by the others to match the fretboard radius.

The action at the 1st fret was fine.

but the intonation was quite a way out.

There we go.  Plays nicely now.
