Simon of “A Thousand Sins” seems to be having a clear out and asked me to check out and service one or two of his guitars… First on the list, the Music Man.

Fundamentally nothing at all wrong with it.

The action at the nut was fine but the neck perhaps had a little too much of a set..

so I added a notch or two to the truss-rod.

Then lowered the action height a little…..

making sure the rest of the strings follow the curve of the fretboard…

A bit of a cleanup, including a check of all the electrics and she’s as good as new.   In fact better than a lot of new Guitars I’ve had across the bench lately!
