These are nice.  The owner wanted an electric pickup fitted.

The usual place for the jack socket is to combine it with the strap button.  Unfortunately I don’t think if I extend the hole it’ll be strong enough.

So I’m going to use a standard jack socket mounted elsewhere.

The pickup is actually a little too long so I’ll have to extend the slot and make a new saddle as well.

I had to extend the slot a little, to make it long enough to fit the pickup.  I’ll need to make a new saddle to fit that.

The new one needs to be that long..

It does however need to be lower by about the same width of the pickup (otherwise the action height will end up higher.
