These are very reasonable alternatives to their more expensive Gibson cousins. Someone’s fitted some really cheap machine heads though, so it needs tidying up and some new heads fitting.

The old ones…With them all off it looks like it’s had a dose of woodworm!Before fitting the new heads I drilled out some of the old holes….and cut some small wood plugs to fit.I filled in all the holes that’ll show.Once the glue was dry I cut the tops flush with the back of the head.I’ve not got any paint but at least the surface is smooth.There we go, ready for action, easy to tune and stays in tune as well.
