What a great looking guitar.  I like the build quality that you get at the price with Ibanez, although it’s probably not a guitar I would choose for myself.  However this one is rather beautiful…

It might be a fairly old guitar but it’s in very good condition so it doesn’t really need a lot of work.

I don’t want to go too far in cleaning it up either, as it’s just nicely aged.  I did give the fretboard a little oil though.

The new owner wanted fairly light strings so the tremolo has dropped down a little.

So I slackened off the springs in the back.

That’s better…

The setup was quite simple, the neck relief….

The action at the 12th fret…

A little low so up with the bridge..

The action at the first fret was fine.

So just the intonation and pickup heights and it’s good to go.

What a great looking guitar!
