A good-looking guitar. Nothing much wrong with it, just needs a few slight adjustments to get the setup right. Before doing anything else I took the old strings off and gave the fret-board a good clean.
With the new strings in place I could properly assess the action. Unusually the fret-board was a little flat, nine times out of ten its the other way.
By tightening the truss-rod I got a little extra curve.
The action at the 1st fret was fine but the bridge is just a little high…
The only way to sort that our is to remove the saddle and grind the bottom down..
I only needed to remove around 1/16″ on the bass side and 1/32″ on the treble.
With that back in place all that’s needed is some polish and it’s done..
