Quite a nice guitar, just been a little damaged…
Can’t really fix that, but I know of a firm that’ll make me a new one. While I’m at it, the customer wants the new one in Mint Green rather, than another black one.The parts swapped, ready to fit to the guitar.I’m going to remove the protective plastic film. It’s quite a fiddly job, and easy to scratch the plastic. I always start at the pots so any scratches will be covered by the control knobs. While it’s all apart I gave the pots and pickup switch a good clean since they were a little crackly. As the pickups have been off I need to reset the heights. I start with a standard measurement then plug it in and play it, making sure the outputs are balanced. There we go, looking good. I have to say I wasn’t sure about the colour at first, but it works well.
