A fairly simple job, the setup wasn’t that far out. Having said that setting up a Floyd Rose is never easy!
Before the setup I’ve also added a treble bleed circuit. It stops the quality of the tone from fading and going “woolly” as you back off the volume.
Before I start the setup I also gave the fretboard a good clean…and as it was rather dry, a little lemon oil.Looking at the setup, the neck has just a little too much of a curve. The truss-rod screw sits at the heel, under the small cover. A bit of a pain to get too.The action was a little high so I dropped the bridge down a little.Lastly the intonation. Always the problem with a Floyd Rose. It probably takes as long to set the intonation on a Floyd Rose as does to do a complete setup on any other guitar!Still all done.
Only one problem, I just rang the number the owner gave me and it doesn’t work! So if this is yours give me a call!
