Ouch, that’s a nasty brake, but fixable….

It’s split in 2 places and some small splinters are missing.  I glued it in 2 stages to make sure  it went back together correctly..Stage 2, glue and clamp.The wood has gone back together well although the edges are a little sharp.  I used a little wood filler and rubbed it back to get a smooth finish.From there off to the paint shop..While the strings are off I also gave it a bit of a clean, oil and polish.There we go, as good as new…
