How do you adjust a Truss-Rod at the heel of a Fender Neck?

How do you adjust a truss-rod when the screw is on the heel of the neck.  The usual way is to take the neck off, adjust it, put it back, check it and repeat!

Of course the other way is to take the neck off and bolt it on a neck jig, fit it with strings and tune them to pitch.

Now I can assess the neck relief and at the same time get to the truss-rod screw on the heel.

Once the neck is back on the guitar with the strings fitted it’s going to fall into shape.

All it needs then is the rest of the setup and it’s good to go.
